US-Iraq Energy Dialogue

The Bilateral Chamber was honored to play a key role during the historic U.S. visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi by convening an exclusive, invitation-only executive gathering in Houston that brought together senior leaders from many of the world's leading energy companies.The private forum provided a unique opportunity for direct dialogue between the Prime Minister and industry leaders on Iraq's vision for expanding investment, modernizing its energy sector, strengthening energy security, and advancing long-term partnerships with the international business community.

In addition to convening this high-level gathering, the Bilateral designed and coordinated select strategic site visits for the Prime Minister and his delegation, showcasing U.S. energy innovation, advanced technologies, and industrial capabilities while facilitating meaningful engagement with American industry leaders. The visit coincided with a series of landmark announcements that reinforced Iraq's commitment to economic transformation, including more than $60 billion in commercial agreements, strategic energy infrastructure initiatives, and continued efforts to strengthen Iraq's financial sector and global economic integration.
