On May 3rd, the Bilateral Chamber's distinguished Board honored H.E. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, President of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, with our Visionary Leadership Award - an occasion that not only recognized his stewardship but also marked the remarkable transformation of Guyana and the resilience, ambition, and promise of its people. The nation’s trajectory stands as a powerful example of what can be achieved through bold vision, strategic collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to inclusive growth.
We also extend our sincere thanks to VADM Kevin Donegan (ret.) and Ambassador Susan Ziadeh (ret.) for their timely and thought-provoking insights. Their discussion shed light on the evolving military and strategic dimensions of the current conflict involving Iran, Israel, the United States, and regional actors.
We were also joined by T.H. Kyle Haustveit, 16th Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Energy's Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office (HGEO), and T.H. Bradley McKinney, Deputy Assistant Secretary, U.S Commercial Service.
