Background:
Libya is undergoing a significant post-conflict reconstruction effort encompassing housing, infrastructure, healthcare, energy, education, and security. The U.S.-Libya Business Association, chaired by ConocoPhillips, is hosting the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund Conference, scheduled for April 28-29, 2025, in Washington, DC. The LDRF is a $3 billion fund, with $1 billion pledged for projects presented during the conference. Belgasim Haftar, representing the LDRF, will be in attendance.
