Leadership Insight Series: Advocacy Center
How the Advocacy Center is expanding its support for U.S. companies pursuing opportunities abroad

Join us for an insightful program featuring Hiro Rodriguez, Executive Director of the ITA’s Advocacy Center, who will discuss how the Advocacy Center is expanding its support for U.S. companies pursuing opportunities abroad.
The Advocacy Center is now broadening its mission through its Strategic Transactions Advocacy Track (STAT) program. This new initiative extends advocacy support beyond procurement to include U.S. companies and investors involved in major international projects.
Through this track, the Advocacy Center provides support for:
- U.S. concessionaires pursuing mineral asset opportunities
- U.S. investors participating in infrastructure and energy projects abroad
- Strategic transactions that advance U.S. commercial interests in global markets
During the program, Mr. Rodriguez will highlight how this expanded advocacy framework helps ensure U.S. companies remain competitive in complex international deals, including concessions and long-term investment projects in key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and critical minerals.
This session will provide valuable insights for companies, investors, and project developers seeking to navigate global markets and leverage U.S. government advocacy in strategic international transactions.
