Indo-Pacific Aviation Security Technology Symposium
The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) hosted the Indo-Pacific Aviation Security Technology Symposium on September 17–18, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand, in partnership with Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) and the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA). The Symposium was organized by the Bilateral Chamber on behalf of USTDA.
The two-day program convened aviation security officials from across the Indo-Pacific region with U.S. government and industry experts to exchange best practices, explore innovative U.S. technologies, and strengthen regional cooperation. Discussions addressed key aviation security priorities, including passenger and cargo screening, cybersecurity, counter-UAS solutions, security planning and training, and emerging technologies.
Through expert panels, technology showcases, and networking opportunities, the Symposium provided a valuable platform for building partnerships, connecting regional decision-makers with U.S. solutions, and advancing safe, secure, and resilient aviation systems across the Indo-Pacific.
The Bilateral Chamber was honored to organize this important regional gathering and extends its sincere appreciation to USTDA, CAAT, TSA, participating delegations, speakers, sponsors, and industry partners for contributing to its success.
