BACKGROUND:
There is a global consensus that reducing methane gas emissions is the fastest way to slow the pace of global warming. The government and private sector representatives on this delegation are eager to procure advanced U.S. technologies, services, and best practices to advance their methane abatement action plans in support of climate action commitments like the Global Methane Pledge and national action plans. Specific interests include methane leak detection and repair, fugitive emission measurement, capture and repurposing technology to reduce methane flaring and venting, and tracking and abatement.
