This informative program will familiarize participants with Shari'ah - compliant finance, providing an in-depth look at Islamic Financing with emphasis on the U.S. economy. Noteworthy speakers will include the Chief of the Middle East/Central Asia Division of the International Monetary Fund, Founder and Chairman of the University Islamic Financial and Lead Investment Officer of the World Bank.

The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce team wishes to extend sincerest condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Helen Chang, Director of the City of Houston Mayor’s Office of International Trade and Development. Ms. Chang developed and fostered key international relations for the city of Houston. Her services and skills were invaluable to the chamber and to the city itself. Through Ms. Chang’s dedication, Houston truly became a more global city as she organized over 130 international trade and bilateral cooperation agreements.
