Mission Highlights

Executives from ten SME companies joined the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (BUSACC) on our biannual business development mission to three GCC countries; the Sultanate of Oman, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar, and onward to the North African State of Libya. The delegates had the opportunity to showcase their products and services to a region with a combined GDP of nearly $1.5 trillion.

Though the business objectives of the delegates varied in nature, all participants in the business mission took away the experience of meeting with some of the most influential business leaders and government officials in their respective countries.

US Trade & Investment Mission to Algeria

The US-Algeria Business Council and the Embassy of Algeria in Washington, DC, in the first partnership with the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce, will embark on a business development trip to Algeria.

Investments in these sectors continue to enjoy growth as one of the most attractive markets in the world for US trade and investment. There is robust growth and demand in the following sectors: Agriculture, Alimentary Products, Aviation, Banking, Construction, Defense, Engineering, Energy, Health, Information Technology, Machinery, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Shipping & Logistics Telecommunications, Tourism, Transportation & Water Resources.

Mission delegates will enjoy an exclusive opportunity to participate in the US-Maghreb Summit on Entrepreneurship, a follow-up conference to the Presidential Entrepreneurship Initiative announced by H.E. President Barak Obama.
