Humanization of Cities of Tomorrow Summit

Texas Attorney Finds Success in Qatar

George Bashier Murr, Partner with the Houston office of law firm of Beirne, Maynard & Parsons practices commercial and international litigation and arbitration. He recently traveled to Doha, Qatar, on behalf of a client where he successfully conducted hearings before court-appointed experts in a complex construction lawsuit pending before the Supreme Judiciary Counsel for the State of Qatar. Mr. Murr and his local Qatari counsel are now scheduled to proceed with additional expert discovery and will eventually seek trial and judgment favorable to their client before the Supreme Judiciary Counsel.

Ms Saqer has been with the Chamber for over 4 years bestowing the BUSACC team and our members with her charisma, guidance, and leadership. On behalf of the BUSACC, members of the Chamber, and our Board we wish her success in her pursuit of a law degree from the University of Houston.

BUSACC team congratulates Former Board Member Mr. Tim Cejka, President of ExxonMobil Exploration Company, and Vice President, Exxon Mobil Corporation, on his retirement. After more than 34 years of service, Mr. Cejka has elected to retire on Aug. 31, 2010. We extend our best wishes to Mr. Cejka.
