Energy Trade Mission

This October, the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce will lead an energy-focused trade mission to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. Participants will have the opportunity to meet with various ministers as well as the CEOs of Bapco, Qatar Petroleum, Saudi Aramco, and ADNOC.

Dr. Mehdi Noorbaksh, Associate Professor of International Affairs and Coordinator of General Education and Humanities at Harrisburg University of Science, will give a luncheon lecture on the current political crisis in Iran and its implications for business in the region. This event includes lunch at The Darband Restaurant.

Sultans of Science

The Sultans of Science Exhibition, held at the Islamic Dawah Center in Houston, celebrates the scientific and technological breakthroughs of the “Golden Age” of Islamic Civilization. Exhibits will showcase these breakthroughs and show how they have influenced modern day science and technology. The Exhibition begins July 1st and will be on display for six months. The Islamic Dawah Center is located at 201 Travis, Houston, TX, 77002. Educator’s guide and school tours are available upon request.
